We are pleased to invite you to join a broad-based group of U.S. corporations and trade associations supporting Russia’s entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO) as a member in good standing and, importantly, our campaign in the U.S. Congress to graduate Russia from the Jackson-Vanik amendment and to extend Permanent Normal Trade Relations to Russia.
The Coalition for U.S.-Russia Trade, housed at the U.S.-Russia Business Council, which serves as the Coalition’s Secretariat, is committed to strengthening U.S.-Russian commercial ties and preserving the competitiveness of U.S. firms, farmers and workers in the Russian market.
General Coalition Membership
General Coalition membership is open to any U.S. company or organization, and no fees are involved. By joining the Coalition, your company’s or organization’s name will be included on the growing list of those supporting Russia’s accession to the WTO. In addition, the Secretariat will request that you join us on or facilitate visits to Congressional offices with which you have a direct connection. Additionally, we will keep you apprised of Coalition-wide activities and events, and your organization will receive recognition as a Coalition Member on the Coalition website and in materials distributed on Capitol Hill.
Coalition Steering Committee
For those interested in a leadership role and greater responsibility within the Coalition, we encourage you to sign on as a Steering Committee member.
Steering Committee corporate members assume a financial leadership role in the campaign to support our efforts, engage visibly in the campaign and are included in strategy meetings. Steering Committee association members offer services in kind to the Coalition to support our efforts, engage visibly in the campaign and participate in strategy meetings.
